The book presents two decades in the history of the Romanian-Greek relations, with a minute analysis of their evolution in the political, economic and cultural fields. That was an historical period with significant events in the history of the two countries, with times of close cooperation at bilateral, Balkan or international level. The author, a researcher with the Nicolae Iorga History Institute of the Romanian Academy, with PhD in history and Master’s degree in south-east European studies of the University of Athens, objectively describes the moments of exemplary cooperation as well as the inevitable shortcomings caused by the historical background. Ample annexes with statistical data, diplomatic correspondence, bibliography, a short biographical dictionary of the main political personalities of the two countries, summary in English add to the value of the book, turning it into a most necessary tool for researchers and those interested in the history of the first half of the twentieth century.
